Career Coaching

I have an extensive corporate background of over 25 years, having worked in Media, Telecommunications, Publishing, Sales and IT. My career has spanned from being a radio researcher for RTE Radio; the leading broadcaster in Ireland, to working for Vodafone Ireland HQ Media Content Team, Zahra Media Group, The Galway Advertiser newspaper and SAP Ireland.

I have predominantly worked in client facing relationship manager roles, which I have always enjoyed. A career break led me on a new path to train as a Professional Coach and I have never looked back. Having worked in corporate for a long time, it was the change I needed. I love being a Coach and find it so rewarding and fulfilling to help people to improve their lives for the better.

Life Coaching

I truly value the diversity of my work as a coach, where I have the privilege of supporting clients through a wide range of topics that impact their lives. My role is to help them identify areas they want to change or improve and guide them toward meaningful progress and personal growth. This often includes navigating significant life transitions such as relationship break-ups, separation, divorce, grief, or coping with life stages like perimenopause and menopause.

I also work with clients facing challenges related to relocation, adjusting to early retirement, or finding their footing during other pivotal moments in life. Each journey is unique, and I am committed to providing the tools, clarity, and support they need to move forward with confidence and purpose.

ADHD Coaching*

My ADHD Coaching supports people in all areas of their lives impacted by ADHD. It helps people to have a deeper understanding of the condition and how it impacts them. ADHD Coaching uses tools and models to help clients in their personal and professional lives.

For anyone with ADHD, they will understand that is a difficult challenge to deal with on a daily basis. However, ADHD Coaching can really help you to recognise how the condition affects you in many areas of your life, and how you can manage it better. It's not easy to explain the condition to people who don’t have ADHD. Some people can go through their life and only get diagnosed as an adult. The remarkable thing is that they have got that far without knowing. So many people ‘mask’ their symptoms and struggles, which shows incredible resilience.

Put Me On The Waitlist

  • Improvements in ADHD symptoms
  • Executive functioning
  • Well-being and self-esteem
  • Time management and organisation
  • Increased motivation
  • Healthier lifestyle
  • Better sleep

Benefits of ADHD Coaching

*I am currently offering ADHD Coaching to adults only. Service starts March 2025

I decided to also train separately as an ADHD Coach, as I have Inattentive ADHD myself. I wanted to understand the condition more and support other people. It is much easier to support clients as I have lived experience myself.

I am currently taking a Professional Advanced course with ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA), the global leader and pioneer in the specialty arena of ADHD Coach Training and Education. ADDCA, based in New York, is the first and largest comprehensive ADHD Coach Training Program fully accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

I will be adding ADHD Coaching to my existing coaching services when I am qualified in March, 2025. I am excited to offer this additional service to support adults with the condition, by means of the in-depth training and acquired techniques from my training with ADDCA.

But there is still a long way to go, and more resources need to be rolled out. ADHD is now divided into Inattentive ADHD (formerly named ADD) and Hyperactive ADHD, people can have Combined ADHD; a combination of both conditions. I have Inattentive ADHD and wasn’t aware of this in school or in university, at the time, there was no awareness of ADHD. When I was diagnosed with Inattentive ADHD, it made such sense. I describe it like putting together a jigsaw when I looked back on my life. Before being diagnosed with Inattentive ADHD, I always thought I wasn’t trying hard enough.

I put pressure on myself to study harder or work longer hours, or push myself more, when in fact, the reason I was struggling was because my executive functioning wasn’t the same as someone who didn’t have ADHD. It affects the functioning in both your personal and work life.

Behind every decision you make, every change you adapt to, and every task you plan is your executive function. Your working memory, cognitive flexibility, and self-regulation are core components of executive function (EF), an interrelated set of mental skills that lay the foundation for advanced cognitive processes and goal-oriented behaviours.

ADHD has received more media coverage in recent years...

Let's Work Together

Fiona, Cork

Fiona has supported me throughout and helped me gain clarity and motivated me to keep moving forward. Her warm and vibrant personality shines through on our 1:1 sessions, making me feel comfortable and able to open up and share my experiences in a safe space. She has helped me see things and develop my self-awareness leading to positive changes in my every day. Would recommend Fiona as a coach.

Fiona has been a fantastic coach to me during my journey.

Michele, Dublin

During a challenging period at work, her practical tools and strategies brought immediate and lasting benefits. I became calmer and more focused, and I still use these tools daily. Fiona's open and personable style made our sessions both enjoyable and highly effective. I highly recommend her coaching services.

Fiona's coaching in business strategy, time, and stress management has been transformative for me.

My marriage had broken down. I was feeling isolated and unsure how to start my life again. In the coaching sessions, we worked on things that were holding me back, such as lack of confidence, self-esteem, lack of trust and how to create a positive mindset. I felt very muddled in my thinking when I first started my coaching with Fiona, but she helped me to get clarity, made me realise what was important to me and over time, I started feeling much more positive about myself. I even started trying out new activities and hobbies to meet new people. I was emerging as a more self-assured, confident person which really surprised me. Three months later, I feel so different and am optimistic about my future. Thank you so much, Fiona, your support has been invaluable”.

I found Fiona’s life coaching so beneficial when I was at a crossroads in my life.

Claire, UK

I went to Fiona for coaching when I had to make a difficult career decision. I was putting off making a final decision, which was making it even more stressful. Her coaching really helped me to understand what was important to me and what I needed to change. Fiona challenged me with powerful questions and held me accountable to actions I outlined. She made me realise my strengths and what I have already achieved to date. With her support, I now am feeling more confident, have a plan in place and know what I need to do to progress my career further.
